Danielle Kennedy has been a dedicated animal rescuer since 2014, contributing her time and skills to support the welfare of animals in need. Over the years, she has volunteered with various small rescue organizations, showcasing her expertise in handling animals requiring diverse levels of care. From managing severe injuries to providing specialized tube feedings, Danielle has demonstrated extraordinary compassion and resilience in her rescue efforts.
As a vital member of New Life Rescue and Adoption Inc., Danielle plays a multifaceted role. Not only is she an active member of our Board of Directors, but she also serves as our St. John’s drop-off location, making it convenient for supporters to donate food and other essential supplies. Her dedication ensures that vital resources reach the animals who need them most.

Shannon is affectionately known within our team as the "thank god she knows what she is at" girl—a title well-earned for her ability to handle the essential business aspects of running New Life Rescue and Adoption Inc. From filing government paperwork to managing bookkeeping and everything in between, Shannon ensures that the foundation of our rescue operates smoothly and efficiently.
A graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Shannon combines her professional expertise with her deep passion for animal welfare. Her love for all creatures great and small extends into her personal life, where she cares for a lively and diverse family of chickens, turkeys, two dogs, and four cats.
Shannon’s contributions to our rescue go far beyond her professional skills. She has been instrumental in designing logos, creating business documents, organizing fundraising initiatives, and even providing transportation for animals in need of veterinary care. My name is Taylor Reid, I am 20 years old and from the small community of Chapel Arm. In my spare time in enjoy anything to do with the outdoors, and volunteering with various organizations. I have two cats of my own, Moose & Bear, who are almost two years old. I have a strong passion for helping those in need, and I am always willing to lend a hand to those who need it most.
